Spring Conference – Beyond Dispensing: Unlocking Growth Through Services

We’re delighted to invite you to our Spring Conference in collaboration with the NPA. This event is open to all members of the pharmacy team and both NPA members and non-members

Arrive from 9.30am for refreshments and the chance to network.

The conference will start at 10am, with a presentation from the NPA – Maximising Private Services alongside Dispensing and NHS Services’. With increasing pressure on NHS funding and pharmacy margins, private services present a significant opportunity for community pharmacies to diversify income. By offering services such as private prescriptions, vaccination clinics, independent prescriber consultations and travel medicine, pharmacies can respond to patient demand for faster and more convenient access to healthcare. When integrated effectively with efficient dispensing and NHS services, pharmacies can convert everyday patient interactions into valuable private clinical opportunities. This approach not only strengthens the pharmacy’s role as a frontline healthcare provider but also protects our bottom line.

The NPA have been running this session across the country and it’s been very popular!

There will also be a session on clinical note taking to support you to record the consultations you are having every day.

Finally there will be some media training with top tips and do’s and don’ts.

There will be opportunities to ask any questions, and there may be a special guest appearance from Rita Bali!

We aim to be finished by 1pm.
