From April 2026 Cambridgeshire and Peterborough ICB merged with Hertfordshire ICB and Bedfordshire, Luton and Milton Keynes ICB. Pam Green, Director for Neighbourhood Health and Partnerships (Cambridgeshire and Peterborough) will give an update on what these changes mean for you.
Although the new ICB is larger, much of the focus is on partnership working at the local neighbourhood level. It can be hard to know where to start with building these relationships. Laura Porro, a manager at PPL will deliver a session designed to support you to:
•Use practical language and conversation frameworks to approach GP practices.
•Describe the community pharmacy offer clearly and confidently.
•Connect that offer to the priorities and operational pressures of general practice.
•Identify appropriate opportunities for collaboration and patient referral.
•Plan a realistic next step for strengthening relationships with local GP practices
Laura has experience working with community pharmacists as she ran the training for our engagement leads. She has a great understanding of the challenges and can offer practical insights.
