Off-Site Vaccinations
If you’re planning to offer any off-site vaccinations including care homes during the Autumn/Winter 26 campaign you must request permission from the NHS Regional Team using this form.
You must wait until you have received confirmation before carrying out any off-site vaccinations or you may not be paid.

Record a Vaccination Service (RAVS)
From 1st September 2026 all NHS vaccinations will need to be recorded using RAVS, either accessing the service directly or via an approved pharmacy IT system. Either way you will require a RAVs log in.
You should contact your current IT system provider to request an update on this integration work and to confirm if their current system will support integration with RAVS for the coming season or whether use of RAVS as a standalone system will be required.

Spring 2026 Covid Vaccination PGD
Vaccine Group Direction – NHS England has authorised and published a vaccine group direction (VGD) for use in the Spring 2026 COVID-19 vaccination campaign. VGDs are a new legal route which can be used to authorise administration of vaccines. They operate in a similar way to a PGD, with pharmacists and pharmacy technicians operating as the clinician, but with the opportunity for some tasks within the process (preparation, administration and record-keeping) to be delegated to other suitably trained staff.
