Funded Community Pharmacy Engagement Leads

Funding has been secured to support ten Community Pharmacy Engagement Leads aligned to the local Integrated Neighbourhoods. There are 22 Integrated Neighbourhoods so each lead will cover more than one area. The Community Pharmacy Lead will work with Clinical Directors (or designated contacts, GP practices, etc), Integrated Neighbourhood managers and community pharmacies to promote and develop integration in line with national and local priorities building strong relationships between GP practices, community pharmacies, and other neighbourhood partners, enabling and driving collaborative working to provide excellent patient care and improving patient outcomes. The leads will be managed by Community Pharmacy Cambridgeshire & Peterborough.

Requirements

  • You must be able to commit two days month for six months (July – December 2025). You will be paid £320 per day.
  • You must work regularly in a community pharmacy within the Integrated Neighbourhood area for which you are applying – you can find a list of all pharmacies and Integrated Neighbourhood groupings here – https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1UrcDBDxJTcLOjx-HNs9-hAsZtEAC9r8u/edit?usp=drive_link&ouid=107642967583418910440&rtpof=true&sd=true
  • Ideally you will be available for the full day face to face training sessions which will take place in July/August (date and venue tbc)
