Flu Vaccinations for Cambridgeshire County Council Staff
For 2026/27 Cambridgeshire County Council(CCC) staff will be issued with a voucher for a flu vaccination which can be redeemed at any participating pharmacy in Cambridgeshire or Peterborough.
If you are not offering this service, please signpost any CCC staff to a participating pharmacy.
- Pharmacists or pharmacy technicians carrying out the vaccinations must
be trained in-line with the requirements of the NHS Advanced Flu Service. Note that you can NOT use the NHS PGD for this service you must procure your own suitable PGD, keeping in mind that a small number of council staff are under 18. - Pharmacists or pharmacy technicians must complete the training as specified within the PGD. This should, as a minimum, meet the requirements of the NHS advanced flu service; face-to-face training (including injection technique and basic life support) at least every 3 years.
- Pharmacists or pharmacy technicians should demonstrate that they have the necessary knowledge and skills to provide the service by completing the community pharmacy seasonal flu vaccination advanced service
- Declaration of Competence (DoC). Signing the DoC whilst not meeting the competencies may constitute or be treated as a fitness to practise issue.
- Pharmacists or pharmacy technicians must also meet any additional training requirements as stated in the pharmacy flu PGD.

Details of all CCC staff vaccinations should be added to the data collection form within 24 hours of the vaccine being administered – Pharmacy Intake Form – Please Fill Out The Form Below
CHS will automatically generate a monthly payment based on total vaccinations delivered at each pharmacy and send the remittance to participating pharmacies at the end of the following month.
