Funded DPP Opportunity
The East of England Teach & Treat programme is offering community pharmacists the opportunity to access Independent Prescribing (IP) training with additional support, including:
- A Designated Prescribing Practitioner (DPP)
- Additional quality-assured IP training and support
Who can apply? You must:
- Be able to start a GPhC-accredited IP training programme at University of East Anglia or University of Hertfordshire in January 2027
- Work as a community pharmacist within the East of England for at least three days per week
- Have your employer’s support, including appropriate cover for training and learning commitments (backfill costs cannot be covered)
- Be willing to become a future DPP following completion of your IP qualification and subsequent consolidation of prescribing practice
