OFFICIAL NHS England Regional Pharmacy Leadership Group
NHS England are delighted to announce the formation of a regional leadership group for pharmacy technicians practicing in the East of England region. The group will seek to bring together the expertise and will seek opinions of pharmacy technicians across all sectors, in order to strengthen and support professional practice and regulation, and to share learning and best practice to enable excellence in patient care
Professional leadership has never been so important and with the significant changes and developments in pharmacy technician practice, it is now more important than ever to ensure that the pharmacy technician workforce is able to have their voice to help shape the future scope of practice
The group will act in an advisory capacity, utilising pharmacy technician professional views to inform the CPhO pharmacy technician advisory forum and the medicines Optimisation delivery group
We will look to hold the meetings quarterly via Teams and anticipate 1 annual face to face meeting.
